N-(9-FLUORENYLMETHOXYCARBONYL)-D-NIPECOTIC ACID - Introduction
The chemical name is (R)-1-(9H-fluoren-1-yl)methoxycarbonyl)piperidine-3-carboxylic ACID, which is an organic compound.
Nature:
-Appearance: colorless crystal
-Molecular formula: C, H, N, O
-Molecular weight: 334.39g/mol
-Melting point: 128-130 ° C
-Stability: stable, avoid contact with oxidants
Use:
(R)-ACID is a chiral reagent widely used in the field of organic synthesis. It is often used as a reagent for the resolution of chiral ketones to produce compounds with high enantiomeric purity. In addition, it can be used to synthesize chiral antibiotics, chiral drugs and other bioactive compounds.
Method:
(R)-ACID preparation can be carried out by the following steps:
1. At low temperature, piperidine is reacted with N-chloroformyl piperidine to obtain N-chloroformyl compound.
2. Add fluorene methanol into the reaction system, and carry out bromination reaction with NBS(N-bromosuccinimide) on the mica plate to obtain the brominated compound of N-chloroformyl compound.
3. Finally, the bromide is reacted with copper formate to obtain the target product.
Safety Information:
(R)-Toxicological properties and safety of ACID are not yet available for reference. In handling and use, appropriate laboratory safety measures should be taken, such as wearing protective glasses, gloves and laboratory coats to prevent inhalation, ingestion or contact with skin.
